September 29, 2007 the new mexico alzheimer's assoc and lizzie the memory walk lizard invite you to get your team together and join our community volunteers on september 29th in roswell for the 8th annual 3k memory walk. also included in the day long events there will be the motorcycle virtual poker run hosted by blood, sweat & gears custom motorcycles. a charity poker tournament, bingo, scrabble tournament, games, music and food. the walk will begin at cielo grande recreation area and finish at 1400 w. second street, monterey plaza where the day long events will occur. the alzheimer's assoc. provides educational training, respite care, a 24 hour helpline, resources and referral information. helen's law is a new law similar to the amber alert type response activated when a person with alzheimer's is reported missing. for information call 624-1552.
